Solar Interlude: Mika Mannerly

Mika drove along that empty dark road. The only landmark in the long endless woods she passed by was a strange house, a cabin of some sort that she drove by. A long day of work had tracked progress across her face in the form of bags under her eyes and a slumped exhausted sighed. It had been a long day at the store. The only place where Mika could get relief from the store and the daily grind was her home. She heard the sound of thunder roaring overhead, and the sky began to pour. Along the long lonely hallway, she saw a silhouette of something far in the distance. Massive antlers obstructed her view and her wheel spun, swerving off course. Like a rollercoaster she tumbled, the last thing she saw was the silhouette of a large deer hopping away from her car until the wavy motions stopped with a loud THUD. The crash left her out of it for a few moments, her airbag cushioned against her face.
"Mmmmmmmmmhppplrffffff!!!!!!" She struggled to push her face from the big inflated bag. When the sun broke through the rain clouds,  she could see the smoke from her car and the tree in front of her. Her vehicle was totaled, it was cold and storming.
"This is ridiculous.." She felt the world threaten to overwhelm her. Reaching into the back of her car and grabbing out her umbrella, Mika hopped out of her car and started to to pace her way forward. She checked her phone, but couldn't get a single signal. "I guess I'm gonna have to find a way to this house.. and I haven't seen a sign for the highway in about, it doesn't matter.." She muttered to herself, "But it's almost dark.. how are people gonna see me standing out in the middle of the road?" The thought of leaving her car in the middle of the road with all of her personal belongings made her sick to her stomach. "Maybe I could lock my car and walk home." Her mind started to race, she had to get home. It was dark and she was very scared. The house is not very far from where she was. If she could just get there.. she will be safe, she has to be safe! Soon she started running back along the road and speeding far back. After about 10 minutes, her car was out of sight and the cabin she'd drove by before was visible. Mika hurried towards it and walked up the front porch, happy to be shielded from the rain. She quickly entered the front door and walked upstairs to her bedroom. The door was locked, but she tried the knob anyway. It wouldn't budge. "Great" Mika cursed under her breath, trying to fight the panic that she was feeling. "Where am I gonna sleep tonight? If I could just stay at the cabin, that'd be great. It's so damn cold. I can't walk that far. " Mika thought aloud, starting to panic as the feeling of unease became more intense. She could feel the walls closing in on her. She was being suffocated by the night. She remembered being in her bed at night and listening to the rain as she fell into a deep sleep, and the feeling was the same now.
The girl heard a creak. "Hm? Oh thank god!"
Slowly, she could hear the door slide open. There was the rustling of footsteps on the other side, so she figured it must have had a full party inside, even if it sounded like an entire neighborhood packed within.
Mika ignored the old antiques and cobwebs as she made her way through the foyer. "Hello?" There was no one in sight, only the glowing of the back door. "What the.." Whatever was going on right now, she wasn't really sure. There were no candles lit in the house and only the glow of the back door illuminated the floor.
Stepping into the kitchen she gasped in fear as she saw it. A large man with a mask stood in the kitchen, a red bow around his neck, wielding a staff in his right hand. His white hooded cloak was drenched and stained with rain and covered part of his mask. He slowly raised his head and looked down at her, "You! Come with me!" He leered, threatening to converge into her space. Mika was cornered between him and the backdoor and panicked.
"G-get away!" She turned the knob and ran out scared.
Her heart was racing, she gasped. Mika found herself in a strange street, some type of market. The flood of steps belonged to various demons and the residents of a world unlike the one she knew.
"W-what the heck is happening? This is insane!" She bumbled around, soon trying to blend into the crowd to avoid the cloaked figure as they came out the door and joined others in the same cloaks.
She hid under a table and pulled the sheets down. "That guy's a nutcase! No one knows where I am so I'll just wait here!"
Someone pulled the sheet behind her.
"Yep, no one knows. If you're gonna stay down there for the next, oh say 6000 years or so care to pay rent? I'll check in on you if there's any termites." The voice of a woman said, spooking Mika.
Before she could blink, they kicked her playfully in the curled knees. She was about to scream, then she noticed the figure's boots were very different. They were very light. Light leather. "Ah!" She could see the boots of the new figure perfectly.
She tumbled over and they grabbed her, dragging her. Mika was face to face with pale faced woman, her long dusty mane of hair swiftly blowing in back. The woman's red dress shone against a golden jewel on her chest, matching pearly earrings hanging from her ears.
"I'm s-"
"Ssh." Eda cupped her mouth and dragged her in back her tent away from the front of the stand. Slowly the cloaked figures dispersed, searching all throughout. When they couldn't be seen, Eda let Mika go and pulled up a chair.
"Are, you a witch?" Mika asked.
Eda replied with a nod. "No one knows that. So let's just say, I'm a woman of many titles, of many powers. A merchant by trade, a fortune teller by desire, a healer, a spellcaster, a rogue in the eye of the powers that be.. I don't know, I'm an old lady! Don't get me started." Eda replied, winking. "What about you? Where'd you come from?" She handed Mika a purple fruit with eyeballs inside it.
The girl shuddered. "I'm, I'm Mika. I work at a store too. A grocery store. I have a degree in, art therapy." Her spiel she regretted, wasn't as remarkable but she was trying to build some goodwill atleast.
Eda sighed. "Alright Mika. It's all pretty neat to meet ya, I can tell you've got spunk. And you? Have you been here before?"
She shook her head. "Where is this?"
"The Boiling Isles!" Eda exclaimed, slapping the table in excitement.
Mika nodded. The girl was unsure what she could offer here. "I got stuck here when my ride crashed. But the car is still along the road in a storm, we can't really walk back there. I don't know how I'm supposed to get home.." She sighed and glanced at the bones of the Titan, feeling sorry for herself.
"Shoot.." Eda peaked over the counter and saw numerous posters hung up along the market place's malls. Each of them spelt out WANTED and had Mika's face printed on it. "Looks like they're out for you kid." Mika blushed, she'd only been here for 20 minutes and she was already a wanted criminal in this strange new land. "Woops."
"Let's head back to my place. I'll see if we can help you out." Eda told her, holding out her hand. "So you wanna hitch a ride?"
Mika shrugged. "I've got enough haymakers for one day, is it somewhere that I can rest?"
Eda pat her head. "Plenty kiddo."
They headed back to Eda's home. This old lady had a lot to teach her. By the end of that day, Mika would learn the true meaning of her life. Or maybe not.
She waved to Hooty as she headed in, and was soon giving King piggy back rides on the couch.
The old woman put her down when the girl curled up in her lap.
Mika rolled her eyes, "I'm gonna be in trouble with the authorities here if I don't get home soon."
Eda winked, "Nonsense. But where'd you come from? Did you come from the human world?"
The girl nodded. "It was like I had a dream. I was out driving, it was raining. I crashed and went into a strange cabin. When the wind died down I opened my eyes and I was here, in this place. I'm just a normal girl from Michigan."
"Okaaay. Well the portal back isn't going to let you go so easily, it only opens up once every few full moons." She paced back and forth.
Mika nodded. She had no choice but to stay here. "Can't I get a job? I can try that." She knew those guards wouldn't let her, but that didn't stop her.
"Ah ha ha! Maybe, possible." Eda stated, crossing her arms. "But you're going to need a good disguise, a human just draws attention wherever they go here." She reached into her chest and started shuffling through potion ingredients, rapidly mixing them in a large flask on the table in front of the couch. The old lady smiled. "Of course, but first things first. You're gonna need a disguise."
Mika had an expression of confusion as she wondered what exactly she was talking about.

"What's wrong? You don't believe me?" She raised an eyebrow.
"I-no, I-that's not what it is." Mika said and quickly looked away. "I mean... that's not it."
"Alright then. This disguise of yours that you say need, what is it? Who do you want?"
Mika sighed confused, "What do you mean?"
"This is is a special Chameleon Potion that will allow you to take any shape or form you want by creating a special suit." She put on tight gloves and started to rub a little bit into her palms. "You just apply it to the body and imagine what form you'd want, like this.." Swiping it across her cheek, she created a series of cat whiskers, paws and then ears on herself. "And presto! I'm Eda Nyathorne!"
Mika gasped.
She walked over to the old lady, "How do I wear it?"
"I'll do it." She replied. Eda started to slowly pour the ooey gooey latex concoction all over her surface, making sure to bend the flowing goo across her surface and rub it like sunscreen. The dripping rubber felt cold and tight, wrapping all around Mika's body and forming a second skin of pearl-scent latex material, pure white sheen burying the girl underneath little by little. Like lava it thrived and crept down, she could feel it growing heavy all across her body, becoming a second shell. It was a strange feeling, as she could see herself in all the shapes she had created with her mind.  She could see her hands changing shape, becoming claws, fangs, and more, each shape made of pure latex overtop her original body. "Is this safe?" She asked, kneading the rubbery goop across her body, pinching and stretching it in droplets.
Eda nodded, "Maybe, who knows. That's why you gotta make sure it's exactly what you want, like in a fantasy land!"
Mika tried to hold in a little squeak as she held herself tight in the goosuit covering up her body, staring at her own gooey sheeny arms, wondering how they felt this good.
"Now, what do you want? What disguise do you want?" Eda said, rubbing the thick black slime along her back.
"What do I want? Uhmm.." Mika tried to concentrate, the sappy layer was getting stricter and tighter across her skin, becoming taut to the touch.
"You wanna be a different race? A beast of some kind? A fairy? A devil? A witch? Or a wizard? A mage?" Eda rubbed the goop into her skin, it crawled up Mika's back and started sticking upwards to the back of her scalp, forming a rubber cowl overhead. "Just think of what you'd want, that's all."
Mika looked down at her own chest. It was becoming flat and round and her face was becoming a different color. A soft pink was forming across her cheeks. She was starting to take on a chubby shape. Her concentration wavered. She couldn't narrow down the possibilities, all she could focus on was Eda. Mature motherly Eda. Mika whispered as she listened to the faintest of sounds. It sounded like a church chime.. she remembered those from a film she watched, and they always made her feel.. warm, peaceful, and like nothing could go wrong. She giggled a little bit, she was a gothic girl after all.
When the imagery of Eda's smiling face beckoned in her mind, her sharp golden fang hanging out at the corner, Mika sneezed. The slick suit around her compressed and glowed, she could feel it reshaping all at once. "W-wait, waaaait SHOOT I didn't mean to think that!"
"Hm? What did you do kid?" Eda asked, still pouring goop onto her body.
Mika looked down at her chest, she could feel the cool rubbery material forming around her body, transforming and moulding around her.  "You have to undo it! I thought of.."
"Yes?"
"Y-you.." She confessed, feeling the material pump sizable breasts down over her chest and start to reshape her curves.
"Oh, well then what?"
"Well, I thought of you.. the picture of you and I came up.." Even her eyelids changed shape and started to remove fur along the outer edges. Her fangs blunted away, one new golden fang were coming in, her white hair spreading out. She cuddled, feeling the rubber spread even deeper and growing thicker. The liquid splattered onto her face, covering and forming a rubbery mask. She had a cute little witch's nose now, and she knew it. The top of her head was getting bigger and wider, skull reshaping even. Her legs started getting longer and sturdier, longer than her small figure should allow. Her legs and hips were expanding along her whole body, she got a bigger, broader chest, a rounder, thicker set of hips, and a softer, fatter behind.
Eda sighed. "Oh Mika. I'm sorry. I-I didn't know that would happen."
She sighed. "I-it's OK, that's what I wanted. You don't have to undo it."
She knew it would be the same with Mika if Eda had said anything. "Don't be sad. It's cute. This suit will make you everything you want to be, it cannot be taken off without another spell."
The Eda suit continued to merge and reshape Mika. She reached up and flicked off the excess rubber slop around her head, it peeled away and crumbled away. Her neck and shoulders started to transform, becoming smooth, clean, round. She felt her body start to slowly grow still, becoming curvier still but she only felt the feeling of being stretched, her latex skin slick with each poke. Her cheeks were beginning to become thinner, her hair was getting longer, her chest busty. "What-what do I do now?" Mika asked, staring at her two bare, firm breasts. Her pussy was starting to become thicker and rounder, her inner lips soft and swollen, her clit poking out from the hole. Her ass was becoming fuller, the cheeks of her behind thickening. Her thighs were more muscular and longer, she could feel her new pussy dripping already, it was warm and wet. The mask had finished merging and reshaping her, giving her all of the Owl Lady's own features.
Eda finished putting her magic concoction onto Mika, and the old lady was satisfied with the girl's new form. She finished transforming. "The best part comes next. This is going to feel a little weird."
"What? What part?" Mika asked.
The latex suit sealed permanently with a crackle. The two women looked down at their bare naked bodies, they were so smooth and clean. "This will seal your mind to match your body. Your mental state will match exactly what your appearance looks like!"
"W-wait, you mean I'm going to start thinking like.. like.."
"Yep." Eda caught her before she fell down "Prepare yourself. This is going to feel intense."

Mika could hear a faint voice of a woman start up inside her head. The voice sounded as if it was floating in a sea of wind. She started to feel sleepy, sleepy and cold. She could almost hear the water, but it felt like it was very far away. Very far, very far away. The dream. That is where the voice came from.
She smiled, it felt so good, like she wanted to do something, so much she wanted to do. So much, so much. Like coming up with new spells, causing trouble, getting drunk with her sister Lilith... reuniting to movie nights with Raine. She wanted to feel good, she wanted to be special, the world was spinning and Mika did not feel like she was present anymore. She was a floating sloshing form in a sea of Edalyn The Owl Lady. The inside wind was calming, it felt like she could touch it, she could feel it. It was beautiful, very beautiful.
It took another few minutes for Mika to fall asleep, she drifted into a deep slumber with her body still feeling that warm feeling of being wrapped up in Eda's latex suit. Her identity melted and was stored away, and when she woke up she remembered nothing of being anyone but Eda the Owl Lady. She wanted to go into town and watch the sun set and watch the moon rise, then pump herself full of champagne on the couch with King and Hooty.
And Mika, sweet Mika who she'd known for only all of an afternoon seemed nice enough. She looked down at her rubbery form, seeing a shining reflective version of Edalyn's red scarlet dress and boots form on her. "Guess I'm the echo then. I can roll with it." She felt a warm and calm emotion rush into her heart, all of the things she'd planned to do went up in a flash of lightning, and they were now all in her.
She looked at the two of them in the mirror. They both looked like they were standing next to each other, the Eda version having one hand on her shoulder, the Mika version of her having the other one on her back. Both were wearing the same scarlet dress, boots, and gloves. The Mika version looked like she was on the edge of a smile, while the Eda one looked just as happy.
"Think she'll be safe inside?" The squeaky version asked, stretching her arms and allowing her latex skin to breath free.
"No one less." Eda winked, pouring a glass of demon wine and chinking a glass to her twin.
They laughed as they drained the bottle in one shot. Hooty couldn't help but think they were getting on famously.
"Come on out King." Rubber Eda said, pulling the small Titan up and letting him scrawl over her squeaky lap.
Eda got up and took her by the shoulders, her smile turning into a warm hug, the glossy suit felt perfect around her, it never failed to put her at ease.
"Well, Mika, I mean Eda. How do you feel?"
"You tell me, eyy? Just have to look in a mirror" The new copy snickered.
"I'll take that as feeling excellent."
Eda grinned and kissed the gothic girl-turned-witch, they both began to press tighter and tighter together, the copy sticking her fingers to rub down Eda's crotch and teasing her all the while.
She didn't think a kiss would be so sweet, and she was wrong.
"Oh, Eda. I love you." She whispered before she leaned in and kissed her.
Eda smiled. She'd just gotten this girl to do something she wouldn't have thought possible. She'd surrendered her entire self to her, and now Eda would never be lonely again. She was making her squirm and she wanted more.
Hooty was staring up. "Looks like someone's watching us somewhere! Hoot hoot!" He pressed into the vantage from beyond realities.
Elsewhere, elsewhen.
Mika looked into the sphere, playing the footage of Eda making love with Eda. Her room was made of porcelain and full of expensive literature, stacked shelves and artifacts, a walk-in-closet with hung up elaborate gothic lolita dresses to the brim. Suddenly someone came into her bedroom.
"M-mom!" Mika yelled squeamish, hiding the Oracle of Allsight away and any peering into other realities with it.
Miss Mannerly put both hands on her hips and leaned over. "What was that I was hearing? If you have company over young lady you really must be up front with it, do I make myself clear."
"Y-yes." Mika said, blushing.
"Yes what?" Mannerly's stern complexion never ceased to give way when others were in the presence of her powerful and imposing maternal ruler.
"Y-yes mother." She swallowed.
"Good. Now get ready for school, you have a field trip. Hex Bless!" Mannerly declared.
Mika sighed. The oracle flashed to another world, one full of deserts, cities, massive green gardens and stalks beyond the realm of the Celes. In this universe, Mika skated through industrial parks in the wasteland from men in suits, her neon outfit glowing brightly from the oracle as she tranversed the psychedelic skyline. The vision of this world flickered and faded, until the Faded World was no more than a blurred out signal, and the imagery went back to the two Eda's passionately sharing intimate gestures on the couch, King pegging along the side.

"Yeah.. Hex Bless, or whatever." Mika Mannerly said. Being a Hex Student was one ordeal, but she couldn't help but feel the sting of envy about what kind of, unfiltered excitement her other selves lived.
The teen, placing the Oracle back on the shelf, could think of a few things she wanted to be blessed with~
