Feyslayer Capital
The brilliant mounds of twilly flowers grew silly across the wavelike fields, the gumdrop guardians watched out the windows as Sugar Master Meister Molly Sweetdrop road the river on a broom like a syrupy bath of molasses. With a springy hop and giggly drop, Molly arrived on the glimmering rose-tinted grass. Wrapped her in an orange, fluffy dress with pink ribbons, even in her white pure white ponytail, the Meister curtsied, letting the guards know she was serious- a curtsy was always a sign of absolute conviction in Glitter Kiss. She rushed through the jamboree titillating the sugarites and sweetizens whom were fleecing nightlight from the gibbous gallantry the moonworld's gaze, the barrier of Glitter Kiss's impenetrable cutie patooti fortress remembering the sun and touching it back into the opalescent cloth of its inhabitants as if it were sweetened sunshine. The Master Meister snuck a parfait from Jolly Janet's stand, crumbling the creme and berries between her pearly teeth before running up spiraling staircases with bright checkered patterns and visiting The Little Ones Whose Names Remain Ever Unlearned atop the parapet. The three were mysteriously lock in step around a single ivory-furred kitten with two tusks and three tails, as if doing a ballroom dance, a cornerstone ritual of Mew-ditation for the Highest Ups of the Rainboyal's tribunal cutevisors.
At the end of each sugar week, the sweeties of the Glitter Kiss empire lined up outside Sugar Baking, the sweet shop owned and run by Big Red, their beloved schoolteacher who is also the dearest of their grandparents and the most loving of mothers. Big Red, with a wry smirk and a warm look, would tell the students that if they train with a Spirit Wand and dance with the devils of the Sugar Sphinx, they too ride into the clouds to resist the Seeker of Despair and the gloom she posed to the heavenly palace and it's Rainboyal family. The world below was once a realm friendly to these sweeties, but their sanitation had turned unsightly in the eyes of those of Divided Sight, the three eyed swans whose crystal eyes saw all that brought ruin upon dire dimensions. While Molly saluted to the Little Ones, she thought of Big Red, her teacher who grafted the Spirit Wand to her Juice Sack in her chest. She'd hand out treats for free, as gifts and as a parting gesture of goodwill for those who passed her Magikal training as a Grand Meister. And she would choose a sweetie every week to become part of the Gracious Garrison and defend the realm of Glitter Kiss beneath its opal dome.
"I am your most humble and faithful Grand Meister, Molly Sweetdrop!" She then pointed her finger at each of the children and called the 'Little Ones Whose Names Remain Ever Unlearned', My little sweeties, I shall call on your talents! All of you who are born with the gifts of the Spirit Wand in this great age, hear me!! I come pouting!"
"Grand Meister, the Rainboyals commend your recent cutifying of the astroid barrage threatening the dome last week. You may curtsy. What sunshine do you bring?"
She puffed up her chest to the children, a giant swan with diamond eyes glaring behind them. "No sunshine! The Smart Department of the Very Learned has come with a frightening discovery! It's the unsanitary ones, the bigworlders! In recent months magika readings have gone offchart! While we're still figuring out how it works, our Sunshine Scholars have managed to track the culprits." The adorable cutevisors grew alarmed.
"Ahha, the wicked ones!" They pouted. "Yes? Well who is responsible for these thorns spreading their weeds?" The children said at the same time. "We are very busy with our own joyful business, please state the suspects!"
"We still don't know, but the Very Learned have seen freighting reorganization recently and expansion on the sour surface! This needs to be reported to the Rainboyal family! Queen Momutie Bouffant XVI will want to hear this cutehaste!"
Molly fluffed up her poofy skirt and puffed up her chest to the children. "Mommy Momutie will not stand for this sadgression! We need to ready the Huggle EnBrighteners at once, just in case! It pays preppy gumdrops to be prepared when the Bigworlders are afoot!" She yelled. All Glitter Kiss sweetizens knew Mommy Momutie Patooti would never let the Rainboyal dynasty of the Bouffant's fall to a mere frowny insurrection by the wicked bigworlders.
They all laughed. "Now, my dears, the Sunshine Scholars have been following the badness of bigworlders everywhere. We can't figure out how to fight them yet. We need to find a way of bringing them down for our own sweet safety." The Little Ones agreed. "Quite Meister! Now, let's review what we learned from your latest cutifying assess-mint, which we need to put into practice this week. O joy, I'll read the report!" She pulled out her Spirit Wand, dripping with red fluid from out of her Juice Sack and fluttered her sparkly wings. They looked at the heart-shaped tablet. "Oh wait! No. The cutifying happened last week!" Molly blushed.
"Haha, I was in my salon for a momentous makeover then! Yes. Last week. Licorice lipstick was trending on Cookiegram! Nevermind that. Let's talk about how to fight them instead."
None of them noticed the flickering flashing figure briefly appearing by a window, watching the parapet and overhearing briefly before fading out of existence again.
Glitter Kiss flourished with festivity that eve under the protection of Glitter Dome - a world without bigworlders. Observable only by telescope, above the atmosphere on the world's lunar body.
