Time froze for all but Intellica.

She stood behind Sandra, shaking her head. The next moment, she stood behind Torayl on a separate ship. Then she strolled around Monarch, later Amity. Novus examined the Domesticity Society, the X.U. pilots, the hard fighting Meisters of Glitter Kiss. She then stepped by the Witchscape wardens and examined their emotions. Their hopes and fears, their struggles and anticipation of what was coming next. It was a feeling long since forgotten, and she already knew what was coming.

The Vexia would blow up and wipeout the moon, as it had before. Solar Society would fall. The crash onto the planet would wipe out the Celestials below. Everyone would fail and die. Her time was coming.

Novus stepped back, and stepped out from behind the Empress, shielding her daughter as the Hivemother drained her lifeforce. In spite of knowing how this would go, had gone, could go, Novus felt nothing. And this particular nothing, sank into her like a thorn embedded in her chest, a weighing hollowness that became worse and worse, as she looked over the wreckage. For the first time in a long long time, Novus couldn't say she wasn't prepared for what she was about to do, and more maddeningly still, she didn't know either.

“I’m technically cheating on our Bet.. but Grahim merging those two was a dirty trick, so I’m allowed to do this much. Besides..” She flashed right behind Sandra. “I think it’s time I let her out of the cell… She has much more than any toys I can give her now..”

She appeared back in front of the Algae Mama in the blink of an eye.

"I cannot interfere here on behalf of my daughter’s, incompetence. But you can. You may help if you wish, you may stay on this miserable rock. A simple plant can never be held to any standard. You can never be happy with yourself." She smiled as if she was talking to someone else, or even herself. "But just know, while you are alive and free, there is one thing you can do that will make this experience less of a waste, and save yourself in the process."

The Algae Mama looked at her. "Anything."

"You can carry the weight of all these souls here." Intellica tapped the Algae

Mama, letting its power and form grow.

The spirit of the Algae Mama manifested as a tall slinky woman with curvy

breasts and full legs, her form a willow of precious petunias.

"A girl suggested this.. Let me sing for you."

The Algae Mama nodded, she understood.

Despite forgetting the words to when she sang Sandra to sleep eons ago, she started to hymn. It wasn’t as brisk and full of spirit as Grace’s tune, the Algae Mama recalled, more one rehearsed and fine-tuned to the last chord, but it had a clear wealth of regret and longing for it. A message. To and to accept that Sandra was no longer a baby. To accept the emotions and feeling she lost, the self she gave up, to mourn the part of her soul Intellica buried to commit to the odes of reason in the plane of higher things. No one else in the world, nor the spirits in the cosmos had ever heard such a haunting song. It went on and on, until the Algae Mama was just the fawning, blushing mess of a spirit, hearing Intellica still singing, still caring, but utterly consumed with the responsibilities she'd taken on. The words rang true.

Respect in responsibility. Soul in sacrifice. Light in love.

And so the Algae Mama began to grow, her roots already embedded within the Solar Society's deepest confines. They started to wrap around the Vexia Seed, reaching into its tunnels and crevices, sucking up the thermal heat it'd gathered in preparation to destruct. From the surface of the moon, and further down the planet, the Algae Mama began to grow, taking on a different form. A gigantic, hulking woman, with huge hands and a long face full of tentacles. The woman began to grow, until the Algae Mama was more akin to a creature, and was almost in its final form, a massive, multi-limbed, multi-tentacled beast of a woman, far less graceful than her spirit had been. She watched as the massive woman struggled to hold the Vexia Seed up, just barely able to lift its oversized-bowling ball weight for her, looking at it as if it was an oracle.

And with a single 'whoosh' she blew breath into it.

Soon Protlyn and Mercy felt their lifeforce recuperating.

Novus let time resume.

The crew above all the fleets above couldn’t believe what they were seeing, their miraculous turn of fate seemingly owing to the Blessed Oak becoming a giant and assisting them all. Sandra watching from the bridge attentively, knew.

“You could’ve just let me take the L mom..” she grumbled.

The inhabitants within all shook, Sammi thrown offguard. "What da fu-" Sway took the opportunity to speed past, grab her by the horns and twist her neck, putting all her might into her thrust and decapitating her sister’s torso with a single stabbing swipe of her foot. She walked over to the hivemother and glared. Her veins began to turn black, and she could feel Grahim's power coursing through her- the champion fighting through pure lasers from her mother's eyes step by step. Mercy could see Sway struggling against her optic blasts and picked herself up, flying and rushing towards her eyes, starting to throw her fists. A psychic barrier began blocking the blows, but Mercy punched and focused harder. She started repeating incantations of the Hex, powerful rhymes and spells meant to enhance her body and push herself to the limit. Grahim’s contract spread black circuited designs over her veins and body, her muscle tensed. She smashed her hands harder and harder, they bled with each strike. After calling upon every last ounce of concentration and intensity she had, the Seeress screamed and bashed her head against the barrier, shattering it. She dashed forward and kicked the insectoid queen’s eyes, causing it to scream out in pain.

The blasts ceased. Sway was freed, her injured body covered in smoke yet standing upright. The same black decals of Grahim spread across her body, offering to hold and support her with the precious energies of the Underworld. Mercy gave the face one more earthshaking strike, the hit splattering her now tender flesh.

"Mum, ah th'nk err'wuns had.. ENUFF!" Sway opened her mouth flashing beam of pure black miasma, the howling shot straight thru the hivemother in a thunderous collision. The darkened beam went right through, killing her instantly.
